• Added new items to the New Specimens pages. One is an extraordinarily rare Bundenbach arthropod, another is a bizarre, soft-bodied trilobite-like arthropod from Siberia.

• Completed the long overdue update to the Plants section. Added several Permian conifers, Glossopterid fruits and some older specimens that have not previously been shown

• Fully updated the Arthropods pages. Highlights include the addition of some brand new Marrellamorph arthropods from the Ordovician of Morocco. These fascinating creatures, named Furca mauretanica, are a clear link between Marrella from the Burgess Shale and Mimetaster from the Devonian of Germany.

• Fully updated the Burgess Shale pages and added 3 spectacular new items including a plate with a Sidneyia and a Pikaia on the same slab.
• Fully updated the New Specimens pages with an assortment of items of most categories

• Fully updated the Mazon Creek pages by adding over 20 new specimens, including some really rare ones.
• Fully updated the Trilobites pages by adding several new specimens. Highlights include TWO different species with soft parts preserved -- a classic Chotecops from Bundenbach and a Triarthrus from New York.

• Added a note and link to the page for cast of the Precambrian Mistaken Point organism (F5326) regarding the pleasant message we received from the discoverer of the site, Dr. S.B. Misra himself! Be sure to take a look at his excellent site about the discovery of the site and the fauna it contains.

• Huge update of the entire website
• Created a new section for just Burgess Shale fossils and added over 20 specimens
• Updated and added specimens to every section. Highlights include a big Devonian eurypterid, several placoderms from Australia, many new mammal specimens, complete horseshoe crabs from the Cretaceous of Lebanon and several spectacular, rare aglaspid arthropods from two countries! See this huge Beckwithia for an example.
• Be sure to notice that nearly every section has new specimens on nearly every page. We photographed many older specimens that had not been illustrated here before, such as this Pipefish from California and especially our fossil plants.

• Added more fossils to the New section, including an incredible aglaspid plate and a complete hadrosaur foot

• Began major update by adding many new specimens to the New section, including the biggest Lebanese shark we have had and a whole new collection of Burgess Shale material.
