Kettneraspis sp. -- Very unusual 24mm wide trilobite curled over 155mm x 44mm matrix. Everyone has seen the beautiful Kettneraspis trilobites from Oklahoma, so we couldn't resist picking up this example of their European cousin. Yes, it's far from perfect, but is essentially complete, if unaesthetic. In fact, we almost never see complete Eifelian trilobites from Germany at all, so it is unique if for just that reason. A nice addition to any collection.
