Fine 40mm Eldonia on 69mm slab. Very clear shape and details. This animal has been hard to classify ever since it was first discovered in the famous Burgess Shale. Finds in Chengjiang suggest it may have been anchored to the sea floor rather than free swimming like a jellyfish, but what it is related to is still very uncertain.
